Bike Fit

Suffering on the bike, not because of it.

A man is on a mountain bike indoors, supported by a trainer, with a woman kneeling next to him giving assistance during a fit session.

Feeling uncomfortable on the bike? Constantly changing out your saddle? Do your hands go numb after 30 minutes?

A good bike fit is crucial to ensure your ride is as comfortable and efficient as possible. A poor bike fit can lead to aches and pains, decreased power, and decreased performance.

What it is: Bike fits at Chain Reaction are a two-hour process in which your body, biomechanics, and how you communicate with the bike are evaluated.

What we assess:

  • Posture on and off the bike

  • Tissue and joint mobility

  • Cleat and pedal positioning

  • Body geometry on the bike

  • Pelvis size and saddle size

Price: $360

Time: 1.5-2 hours

A bike fit isn't just about comfort. It's about what happens to your body when the same inefficient movement is repeated 16,000 times in a single ride.

Most bike fits tell you where your body is on the bike. Mine tells you why it's there and what to do about it.
