Got it. Here's one thing to try today to feel better after long rides.
Your quads do a huge share of the work on the bike, and they do it for hours with your hips flexed forward, shortening both hip flexors and proximal (upper) quads. That’s one part of the stiff, beat-up feeling when you climb off the bike, especially since these muscles contribute to back pain. Active movement can help decrease the tension you often feel there after hours on the bike.
HOW TO USE IT
Do it right after you get off the bike, before you sit down. 2×8/side
Coming next: In a few days, a quick check on your own bike that could be part of why you feel wrecked.
